The National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress has met with the Senate Caucus of the party at the National Assembly to discuss the frosty relationship between the executive and legislature.

Analysts say the meeting may be connected to the planned veto of the amended 2018 Electoral Act.

APC National Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun says the party cannot afford to be divided as the 2019 general election approaches.

The APC National Working Committee later observed a one minute’s silence in honour of late Senator Ali Wakili representing Bauchi South senatorial who passed on last weekend.
